Agile Plate is a recipe and pantry app, operated by Zenturetech LLC. This policy covers the mobile app, this website, and any other way the service reaches you. By "we," "us," or "the company" we mean Zenturetech LLC.
You don't sign up. The first time the app starts, it creates your account by itself:
Your identity is that device key. There is no email address on file and there is no password. (The internal database keeps a meaningless, made-up placeholder value in the field where other apps would store an email. It points to nothing and is never used to contact you.)
Your content — exactly what you chose to save:
Device records: the random device code, the device's name as you'd see it in Settings (for example "Brad's iPhone"), and when that device last connected.
Purchase records: when you subscribe, the store you bought from (Apple on iPhone, Google Play on Android) sends us a notice, and we keep the record needed to know whether your subscription is active: the transaction ID the store assigned, which plan it is, its dates, and its state (trial, active, expired). The store handles your payment itself — we never see your card details or your store account.
Usage counts: once per day, per kind of thing you did (for example, that a capture happened today). The count contains no content — no recipe names, no photos, no text. We also keep total daily counts across all users with nothing attached to any one person.
Website pairing records: the website has no email or password accounts — but a browser can pair to your app account (the app's Settings → "Pair Web Session"). Each pairing creates one session record that keeps the browser's IP address and browser information for the life of that session; it disappears when you sign out, inactivity ends it, or your account is deleted. Ordinary automated API traffic doesn't create records like this.
We name jobs rather than brands, so the policy stays true while services change. If a different company takes over a job, what counts stays the same: your data travels for that job and no further, and this page still describes it.
Some decorative food images in the app are generated from the recipe's own text — by services on our own side, never with your photos. Everything else — your recipes, pantry, lists, and account records — runs entirely on our own servers.
Your content and records are kept while your account exists. When your account is deleted (see below), the contents go too. The daily counts are just numbers and are kept without a personal record to remove.
Settings inside the app → Delete account. That one action erases everything: your recipes, steps, ingredients, the photos (including the files on Cloudflare's storage), your pantry and shelves, your shopping lists, unfinished captures, every device's access to your account, the fingerprint of your recovery phrase, and the purchase records. It's permanent. Because we hold no email and can't read the recovery phrase, there's no copy that could rebuild the account afterward — that's the point.
Two things deletion does not do:
The recovery phrase is the only way to get back into your account on a new or repaired device. We keep it only as an unreadable fingerprint, so nobody can look it up for you — including us. There's no backup email or phone number on file to fall back on, so keep the phrase safe: if your device is lost or dies and the phrase is lost with it, the account and everything in it can't be brought back. Your subscription records remain yours at the store you bought from, but the recipes can't return without the phrase.
Agile Plate isn't meant for children under 13, and we don't knowingly keep a child's personal information. If one reaches us, we'll delete it.
You can see, correct, export, or delete your information — most of it directly in the app, the rest by contacting us. We never sell personal information, and we don't share it for advertising. If a US state privacy law applies to you, you can contact us to exercise your rights to access, correct, and delete your data.
All traffic is encrypted in transit (HTTPS). Your identity keys live on your device in its own secure storage; on our side, access keys and recovery phrases exist only as unreadable fingerprints. Administrative access to the service is limited to the operator, and use of that access is itself logged.
If our practices change, we'll update this page and the date at the top. If a change is significant, we'll make it plain in the app or here on this page.
